Registered Nurse Position at Sentara Careplex HospitalSentara Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for IR, Intake and Recovery at Sentara Careplex Hospital located in Hampton, Virginia. This is a full time, day shift position. This position requires weekend on-call as noted below.$15,000 Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates!Hours:Monday – Friday: 7:30am - 5pm, 4 days a week OR 8am - 4:30pm, 5 days a weekWeekend Call: 4 hours on Saturday/Sunday about every 6 weeks (9am-1pm)The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.
