We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our production line team. As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for assembling materials, operating machinery, inspecting parts before packaging, and preparing items for shipment. This role involves rotating through various positions on the line, offering a dynamic work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble materials and operate production machinery.

• Inspect parts for quality assurance before packaging.

• Package items and prepare them for shipment.

• Rotate through different positions on the production line.

• Work collaboratively with other operators under supervision.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 6 months of recent manufacturing experience.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Experience in visual inspection for quality control.

• Demonstrated job longevity, with at least 8 months at previous roles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical or machine operating is a plus.

Join a bustling plastic manufacturing environment that can get warm during summer months. You'll work closely with another operator while supervised by a team lead. The dress code includes work pants, a work shirt, closed-toe shoes, and safety glasses. Please note that long fingernails are not permitted due to safety regulations. Opportunities are available on both the 2nd shift (2:30pm - 10:30pm) and 3rd shift (10:30pm - 6:30am), with potential for overtime and mandatory 12-hour shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.05 - $17.05/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
