Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:

• 8+ years of professional development experience, including proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer on complex, large-scale platforms.
• Substantial experience with SQL and designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based architectures is necessary.
• Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to solve complex technical and business problems across diverse software architectures.
• Substantial experience with JavaScript, Node.js (Hapi.js/Express.js), and front-end development with React, including micro-frontend architecture.
• Engineers with experience in C#, .NET, or Python are encouraged to apply, provided they demonstrate a strong willingness to transition into a JavaScript/Node.js-centric technology stack.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help drive the continued evolution of a connected equipment solution. As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will operate as a highly autonomous problem solver, architecting solutions within a large, pre-existing ecosystem. You will focus on designing and developing new features, writing cutting-edge code, and continuously enhancing the performance and scalability of the product line in a design-first development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver new features for a complex and evolving IoT platform.
• Write high-quality, efficient, scalable, and reusable code.
• Take ownership of work by writing unit tests and ensuring the reliability and performance of code.
• Collaborate within a highly engaged, cross-functional development team.
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring, coaching, and supporting fellow developers.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, database optimization, and API design to enhance scalability and maintainability.
• Partner with product managers to define, scope, and plan innovative new features.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic technical initiatives and long-term product direction.
• Work with QA to ensure cohesive, high-quality, and user-centric solutions.
• Actively participate in and help improve the agile development process.
• Produce clear, detailed, and maintainable documentation.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.

Experience: 8+ years of professional development experience, including proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer on complex, large-scale platforms. Substantial experience with SQL and designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based architectures is necessary. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to solve complex technical and business problems across diverse software architectures.

Technical Skills: Substantial experience with JavaScript, Node.js (Hapi.js/Express.js), and front-end development with React, including micro-frontend architecture. Engineers with experience in C#, .NET, or Python are encouraged to apply, provided they demonstrate a strong willingness to transition into a JavaScript/Node.js-centric technology stack.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with containerized application deployments, especially using Docker.
• Experience with large-scale data systems.
• Experience with message queueing architectures, particularly RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), especially EC2, S3, VPC, Elasticsearch, and Kinesis.
• Any IoT experience is a plus.
