Work Environment\n

This role operates in a fully remote environment, utilizing telehealth technologies to connect with clients. As a provider, you will have the flexibility to manage your work schedule within our standard operating hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain a deep understanding of clients’ personal narratives and needs, which underpin the development of effective treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the individual requirements of each client, ensuring therapeutic modalities are respectful of their cultural contexts.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that specifically address mental health concerns, promote emotional well-being, and enhance client resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and ensure client goals are being met.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support during mental health emergencies to ensure client safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to engage in their own care.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation of client interactions in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities, including cultural competency training.

• Stay updated on current research, best practices, and relevant cultural understandings in the field of mental health therapy to continually enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
\n
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based therapeutic approaches, and the ability to deliver culturally competent care.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy, utilizing inclusive methodologies that address diverse client needs.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills with a calm, composed approach in challenging situations.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from a variety of backgrounds.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

• A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, ethical standards, and client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on serving diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
