Warehouse Manager

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check vendor pricing for accuracy
• Ensure shop is kept neat, clean and tidy (floor’s swept, jobs pulled, trash taken out, ect.)
• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company policies and vision
• Ensure all warranties are being processed in a timely manner
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution
• Inspect vehicles to ensure inventory and cleanliness, manage vehicle upkeep
• Consistently look for ways to reduce warehouse and van inventory
• Ensure materials are being pulled and staged for next day’s installs
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping requirements
• Approve or deny all field employee tools. Keep record of tools approved for purchase
• Approve and order all stock orders provided by warehouse employees
• Negotiate with vendors for better pricing on materials
• Work with department managers to ensure employees have adequate materials to complete daily tasks.
• Work closely with Service Manager to ensure adequate service truck stock
• Assist other departments as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Job will be performed in an office/warehouse setting.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position. Hours are 7:00 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Extensive HVAC experience is required. EPA certification and HVAC state license is required. 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must pass pre-employment drug test and random drug tests administered once hired
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must adhere to policies in Employee Handbook
• Must possess advanced customer service skills
• Must maintain good personal hygiene
• Must help to maintain a safe working environment 
• Must have valid social security number
• Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction
• Proven work experience as a warehouse worker/manager
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
