As a Pharmacist in a community pharmacy setting, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, consulting with patients, and managing prescription reviews. This role requires moderate patient interaction and involves overseeing pharmacy staff to ensure smooth operations and compliance with all regulatory standards. You will play a key role in medication therapy management, health screenings, immunizations, and inventory management without the need for travel.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Consult with patients regarding their medication and health concerns
- Review prescriptions for correctness and appropriateness
- Manage medication therapy and provide recommendations
- Oversee inventory and ensure proper stock levels
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards
- Conduct health screenings and administer immunizations
- Supervise and manage pharmacy staff
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in a pharmacy setting
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
- Licensed Pharmacist
- Valid Immunization license
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and clinical practices
- Proficient in patient counseling and communication
- Experience with inventory management and regulatory compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
