Automotive Mechanic

Automotive Mechanic I Duration: 6 Months Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain vehicle functional condition by working off repair orders or leader instructions and conducting inspections. Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and components. Read, interpret, and follow service procedures. Maintain vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair orders. Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs. Participate in daily shop organization and clean‑up. Education and Experience (required) High school diploma or equivalent. 1‑2 years of previous experience required. Mechanical ability and ability to operate shop equipment. MUST have rolling toolbox. Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Contract Location Dearborn, MI Base pay range $19.00/hr - $19.00/hr This range is provided by Belcan.
