Product Design Engineer

A defense manufacturer in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Product Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This organization supports mission-critical programs for the U.S. military and allied forces, delivering hardware that performs in the most demanding environments in the world. Responsibilities Lead product design and development from concept through manufacturing release Develop and maintain detailed 3D models, drawings, and documentation Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including operations, production, and program management Ensure designs meet applicable military and industry standards Support design reviews, testing, and continuous product improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 5+ years of product design engineering experience Proficiency in Creo Parametric required Experience designing to MilSpec standards strongly preferred Consumer products background a plus Strong understanding of GD&T, DFM, and engineering documentation standards Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000 depending on experience Location: Onsite in Scottsdale, AZ Valley Mountain Staffing is an equal opportunity recruiting firm.
