What makes this opportunity compelling: Gain practical experience across accounting and business operations Support multiple locations within a fast-paced organization Build exposure to journal entries, reconciliations, and financial documentation Work closely with accounting, operations, insurance carriers, and external partners Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant Process bank deposits and maintain gift card activity and related journal entries Review daily closing documentation and assist with daily cash-report audits Track chargebacks and submit supporting documentation to credit card providers Report and monitor general liability and workers’ compensation claims Maintain insurance records, safety inspection logs, and certificates of insurance Qualifications for the Accounting Assistant 1+ years of accounting support, bookkeeping, or administrative experience Experience maintaining spreadsheets, financial records, and supporting documentation Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office systems Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
