Part-Time Accounting SupportDepartment: Finance and AccountingEmployment Type: Part-Time (Onsite)Position SummaryTherma-Stor is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Support team member to assist the Finance and Accounting department with daily administrative and accounting activities. This entry-level position provides valuable hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment and is ideal for someone looking to build foundational accounting and finance skills.The successful candidate will be organized, eager to learn, and comfortable working with financial data, invoices, and accounting records while supporting the overall efficiency of the Finance team.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with accounts payable processing, including invoice entry and codingSupport account reconciliations and maintenance of accounting recordsAssist with data entry and validation of financial informationOrganize and maintain electronic and paper accounting documentsSupport month-end closing activities and reporting processesHelp prepare spreadsheets, reports, and financial schedulesResearch and resolve basic invoice or payment discrepanciesAssist with vendor setup and record maintenancePerform administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and document managementSupport special accounting and finance projects as assignedCollaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasksAssist with Audit requests.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent; coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferredBasic understanding of accounting principlesExperience with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelStrong attention to detail and accuracyEffective organizational and time-management skillsAbility to handle confidential information professionallyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferredPrevious office, administrative, bookkeeping, or accounting support experienceFamiliarity with ERP or accounting software (JD Edwards experience a plus)Currently pursuing or interested in a degree in Accounting, Finance, or BusinessExperience with data entry and document management #J-18808-Ljbffr
