JOB DESCRIPTION
Sushi Masa of Houston is looking to add a Food Runner to our growing team.
Sushi Masa is a well-established, high-volume, full-service restaurant concept with room for growth in a fast-paced, full-service casual dining environment. If you enjoy staying busy, moving quickly, and taking pride in delivering great guest experiences, we would love to meet you.
What You’ll DoAs a Food Runner, your main goal is to get freshly prepared food to our guests with exceptional speed and accuracy. You’ll help keep service flowing smoothly by coordinating with the kitchen and supporting your team during busy rushes.
Run food from the kitchen to the correct table in a timely manner
Ensure orders are delivered accurately and according to guest expectations
Assist servers and support front-of-house teams as needed throughout the shift
Maintain a clean and organized environment in shared delivery areas
Communicate clearly with kitchen and floor team members to prevent delays
Follow all restaurant procedures and food handling guidelines
Fast pace, fast progress: stay active in a high-energy setting where effort matters
Team-focused culture: collaborate with passionate cooks and servers
Guest-first mindset: deliver memorable moments through speed and accuracy
Comfortable moving quickly for extended periods in a busy restaurant environment
