You're the first person most employees see when they arrive. That's not a small thing. As a Workplace Experience Associate, you're embedded in a single tenant's workplace, responsible for the front-of-house experience, the daily readiness of the space, and the kind of consistent, warm service that makes employees feel like someone's actually looking out for them. This is a hands-on, people-facing role. You'll staff the reception or amenity desk, greet employees and guests, manage visitor check-in, keep the space stocked and tidy, and support events and meetings as needed. The work is varied, the pace is active, and the standard is high. The best people in this role take genuine pride in the small things the lobby that's always welcoming, the name they remembered, the supply that was restocked before anyone had to ask.

Responsibilities:

• Every employee is greeted warmly and by name. Every guest knows exactly where to go.
• The space is always clean, stocked, and ready. Nobody arrives to a room that wasn't prepared.
• You handle the front desk and support events without needing to be told what needs doing.
• The Lead and Manager trust you to hold the standard independently.
• Employees feel genuinely cared for. You've built familiarity that makes the workplace feel less transactional.

• You find real satisfaction in making things feel effortless for other people. The best version of this role is almost invisible to employees. You're the reason it works.
• You're a people person in a genuine, low-key way. You remember names, pick up on when someone's having a rough morning, and make small interactions feel human.
• You're organized and proactive without being told. You notice when supplies are running low. You see the room that needs a reset. You handle it.
• Being on your feet suits you. You're not sitting behind a desk waiting for things to happen. You're present, active, and engaged throughout the shift.
• You take the work seriously even when it feels routine. You understand that consistency is the job. The tenth greeting of the morning should feel just as warm as the first.

What You Shouldn't Like:

• You prefer behind-the-scenes work. This role is almost entirely people-facing.
• Daily repetition feels draining. Consistency is central to what makes this role valuable.
• You're uncomfortable taking initiative without being explicitly asked.
• Standing and moving throughout a shift for extended periods isn't something you're able to sustain.
• You see service work as temporary or beneath your long-term goals. Here, doing it well is the whole job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front-of-house presence. Staff the reception or amenity desk, greet employees and guests by name, manage visitor check-in and wayfinding.
• Space readiness. Conduct visual walkthroughs; restock supplies, beverages, and collateral; escalate maintenance or IT issues promptly.
• Meeting and event support. Assist with room setup, catering, check-in, and wrap-up for tenant events and meetings.
• Vendor and delivery coordination. Support vendor check-ins, delivery logging, and package management as needed.
• Service culture. Embody Industrious hospitality standards in every interaction; participate in Surprise and Delight initiatives and monthly service campaigns.

• Experience. 1+ years in hospitality, retail, or reception.
• Customer-facing experience. You've worked in hospitality, retail, reception, or a comparable role where service quality mattered.
• Reliability. You show up on time, do what you said you'd do, and communicate in advance when you can't.
• Attention to detail. You notice when things are off and take care of them without being prompted.
• Physical readiness. This role requires standing and moving throughout the shift.
• Team orientation. You work well alongside others, communicate clearly, and take your role in the team's collective performance seriously.
• Physical requirements. This role requires the ability to lift items up to 25 pounds and to stand and move throughout the shift for extended periods.

Equal Pay Disclaimer

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum base salary for the Workplace Experience Associate is $28.00/hour and the maximum base salary is $33.00/hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
