JOB TITLE: MACHINE OPERATOR (SAW OPERATOR / FORKLIFT)

PAY: $24.15 - $26.15 per hour

SHIFT: All Shifts Available

LOCATION: Auburn, WA

This role operates band saws and sit-down forklifts in a metal fabrication and aerospace materials environment. You will cut aluminum and steel to precise customer specifications, perform visual quality checks, and maintain accurate documentation and chain of custody for all materials processed. The position combines machine operation with warehouse duties and requires strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and comfort working on your feet in a large industrial facility.

• Operate band saws to cut aluminum and steel materials to exact lengths and dimensions according to work order specifications, including cuts ranging from approximately 4 feet to 20 feet and thicknesses from thin sheet to heavy material.
• Process materials according to customer orders while following detailed work instructions and aerospace quality standards.
• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move, load, and unload raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Read and interpret tape measures and other measuring tools to ensure accurate cuts and material dimensions.
• Perform visual quality inspections to verify materials meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Maintain saws and related processing equipment in a safe, clean, and operating condition.
• Keep processing and warehouse areas organized and compliant with safety standards.
• Complete required paperwork and system entries accurately, including chain-of-custody and material traceability documentation.

• Previous experience operating a band saw, preferably cutting steel, aluminum, or similar metals.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform precise material cuts.
• Experience performing visual quality inspections.

This position is based in a large industrial warehouse and production environment supporting aerospace manufacturing. Employees work with aluminum, steel, titanium, and other metals while operating band saws, forklifts, and material-handling equipment. The first week consists primarily of classroom training, followed by hands-on training alongside experienced operators.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.

The pay range for this position is $24.15 - $26.15/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Auburn,WA.
