Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team full-time. This position is responsible for supporting the general upkeep, repair, and maintenance of our facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and professional work environment. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with basic building maintenance, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing a variety of maintenance tasks. Responsibilities Perform general facilities maintenance and repair work as needed Complete interior and exterior painting projects Repair and replace trim, molding, doors, and other finish materials Perform light carpentry work and minor building repairs Maintain and replace HVAC filters on a regular schedule Inspect facilities for maintenance issues and address repairs promptly Assist with office, shop, and building improvement projects Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized manner Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Perform other general facilities maintenance duties as assigned Qualifications Previous facilities maintenance, construction, carpentry, or handyman experience preferred Basic knowledge of painting, trim repair, light carpentry, and general building maintenance Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and basic maintenance equipment Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and perform physical work throughout the day Valid driver’s license required Benefits Cannon Companies offers a full and robust benefits package for employees the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
