This is a full-time opportunity, located in Edison, New Jersey.How You’ll Spend Your DayUtilize the SAP/APO DS scheduling tool / RRP3 to maintain system datesDevelop, maintain and publish the detailed finite schedule in the DS scheduler tool using end to end sequencingAbility to work with internal supervisors/managers and support departments to accurately schedule the business needs, with inputs/recommendations to be reflected in the finite scheduleIdentify and elevate issues to the Master Scheduler or SC Manager that may impact the weekly commitments that cannot be resolved in this horizonConvert firm planned orders into discrete process orders and utilize the ERP scheduling tool to ensure schedules within the 4-5 week horizon is realistic and achievableEnsure jobs are issued with the proper documentation in line with the desired recipes and routing as defined within SAPLoad all jobs into the weekly (Ready to Execute) RTE file and distribute to pertinent departmentsLead weekly interdepartmental RTE call to ensure manufacturing/packaging readiness in the frozen horizon and beyondTrack RTE metrics, and highlight and manage RTE action itemsCommunicate material and document requirements to supporting departments to ensure priorities are established in other departments to support the MPS in the firm zonesPlan accordingly the required “planned” downtime due to Plant Maintenance (PM), Engineering and other requirements. Communicate the start dates to impacted departmentsLead weekly forward-looking draft reviews with the operations team to identify any challenges, improvements or execution issues that impact C+1 and beyondWork with Production Coordinator to ensure the required production documents and materials are available and will be delivered within the requested timeframeSupport by attending the daily manufacturing shop floor meetings (Lean, Tier, Mon-> Fri)Publish Weekly schedule metrics including monthly projection plans, WorkCentre utilization/execution, RTE readiness, risk factors, scheduled downtimesSupport the root cause/corrective actions of all underlying scheduling missesSupport the S&OP process by maintaining a detailed and capacity/materials-planned 3-month horizonManage the frozen/firm zone to ensure that the delivery of bulk adheres to market requirements/FG planHelp direct the operations team with process improvement reviews/activitiesBack up Sr. Finite Scheduler with such duties as:Develop, issue and publish the detailed finite schedule in the ERP scheduler using end to end sequencing to ensure the release of Finished GoodsManage the frozen/firm zone to ensure that the delivery of the bulk/finished goods are aligned with defined due datesEstablish achievable production schedules as specified in the routings and available head counts.Your Skills and ExperienceCollege Diploma or University degree in Science, Business, Engineering or Supply ChainCPIM is preferred3+ years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical industry preferred).Working knowledge of how to build finite schedules in Manufacturing, Packaging and supporting areasSolid understanding of S&OP and GMP processesExperience working in a production plantERP systems, MS Office packageSalary RangeThe annual starting salary for this position is between $85,510 – $90,540 annually.
