Field Service Technician
Our client, the telecommunications industry, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be part of the technical support and installation department supporting residential customers. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: St. Louis, MO or Granite City, IL
What's the Job?
- Perform independent installations and repairs for residential internet and phone services.
- Install and configure customer equipment, including routers, modems, and Wi-Fi gateways.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by maintaining professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge during all service visits.
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity and service issues efficiently and accurately.
- Install, terminate, and test network cabling, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in telecommunications, networking, or field service.
- Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and in underground and aerial environments.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
