# Job Opportunity – Hospital Medicine – New England

**Schedule:** Multiple shift options available including 7a-7p, 8a-4p, and 7a-3p services with flexible 12-hour coverage during high-volume periods; weekend coverage consists of two 12-hour services with surge support as needed; no callback once shift is completed

**Highlights:**
– 120-bed facility with daily census of 50-60 patients and 10-12 admissions per day
– Rounding on 15-22 patients daily depending on shift assignment and volume
– Open ICU with dedicated intensivist support for drips, vents, and procedures
– EMR system: Meditech
– Comprehensive support staff including PT, OT, SLP, case management, respiratory therapy, and on-site intensivist
– Minimal consults (1-2 daily) to behavioral health and surgery services

**Requirements:**
– Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
– Active and unrestricted medical license
– DEA certification
– Seasoned providers comfortable managing 18-20+ patient encounters daily preferred
– Case logs required for credentialing review
– Orientation includes two 12-hour shadow shifts with EMR training
