Industrial Automation Sales

We are a leading manufacturer of Industrial Control and Networking Products and have an open position for an Industrial Automation Sales Engineer to develop and grow business in the Pacific Northwest based out of Seattle or Portland. This is an individual contributor role, however, it is also a strong path into sales management!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Grow sales revenue by promoting the value of Industrial Automation Products AND Networking Products: HMI, PLC, Sensors, Ethernet Switches, VFD, Servo, Motion Control, Vision, Industry 4.0., Safety.

· Utilize strong sales processes including account planning, sales strategy development and execution to generate/ develop strong consistent growth from assigned account list.

· Work effectively across matrix organization and virtual territorial team.

· Maintain internal support, communication, and coordination of large projects / developments

Qualifications

2 year degree with 2-4 years of industrial automation sales experience and solid, local market knowledge.

· Experience selling to End Users and OEM’s in the mentioned territory.

· Proven track record of successful, complex, high-level negotiations.

· Must be able to effectively function in a team environment.

· Candidate will be expected to travel throughout assigned geography visiting with customers. · Overnight travel will be required (approximately 25%, including HQ Training & Meetings).
