Role Description The Automotive Service Advisor at Dyer Kia is a full-time, on-site role located in Lake Wales, FL. This role is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their vehicle concerns, and accurately documenting service requests. The Service Advisor coordinates with technicians to schedule and track vehicle maintenance and repairs, provides clear explanations of recommended services, and prepares estimates and invoices. Daily tasks include maintaining communication with customers on service status, ensuring timely completion of work, and promoting a positive service experience that supports customer satisfaction and retention. The role also involves reviewing service history, upselling applicable maintenance services, and adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards. Qualifications Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships. Knowledge of Vehicle Maintenance and Automotive Repair sufficient to explain services, interpret technician recommendations, and guide customers on appropriate care. Clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written, to document service needs and relay information effectively to customers and team members. Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple service appointments, estimates, and repair orders accurately. Experience in an automotive service advisor or similar role within a dealership or repair facility preferred. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership management and service scheduling systems. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional automotive or customer service training is a plus.
