What You'll Do

• Deliver perioperative nursing care within the operating room setting
• Assist in preoperative assessment, patient preparation, and postoperative recovery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth surgical procedures
• Utilize nursing processes to monitor patient status and maintain safety
• Delegate and direct support staff as needed, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Educate patients and their families about procedures and postoperative care

What You Need

• Required:
• Current RN license in Louisiana
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Experience working in an operating room setting
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good judgment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Preferred:
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Additional certifications or specialized skills in perioperative nursing
