Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position in an acute care hospital setting. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to adult patients with medical, surgical, and oncology diagnoses, with a focus on telemetry monitoring. This position requires adherence to hospital protocols and collaboration with interdisciplinary support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license or eligibility to obtain in Missouri or a compact state; at least 2 years of recent medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience; current BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and fire safety certifications; EPIC electronic health record system experience; ability to manage ports, administer chemotherapy, interpret dysrhythmias, utilize PPE, monitor chemotherapy, construct telemetry reports, start and maintain IVs, and respond to rapid response or code alerts.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior hospital experience with adult medical, surgical, or oncology patients; experience with electronic fetal monitoring is not required for this role.
• Additional Information: The unit accommodates adult patients with a daily census of approximately 19. The unit features two Comfort Care Suites for end-of-life patients and requires clinicians to float within scope to meet facility needs. All travelers must complete required modules through WorkRamp and upload documentation prior to start. No local candidates within 75 miles are accepted.
• Certifications: Candidates must hold current BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and fire safety certifications. ACLS is required for the location.
• License Information: MO license required; compact license acceptable if it matches permanent residence.
• Travel and RTO Policy: RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days; all RTO must be finalized at submission. No RTO allowed in the first week of assignment.
• Contract Details: Confirm shift in the submittal. The contract length is fixed from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027.
• Compliance: Must meet all onboarding deadlines, including modules and labs. Travel facial hair must allow for fit testing.
