Job Description Position Summary The Mechanical Designer II performs their job functions under the supervision of a project’s Engineer-of-Record. The MechanicalDesigner II works on matters of basic to intermediate complexity under the responsible charge of the registered Mechanical Engineer.This role is expected to work closely with other architects, engineers, and designers,as well asother internal and external teammembers to ensure a coordinated, constructible, and complete design. Tasks include assisting with 3D modeling and design, conductingfieldinvestigations, performing red-to-black markup/review tasks, and producing disciplinedeliverables. Responsibilities Interface with client and external partners preferred Travel as required for client development and project execution preferred Work on a variety of mechanical assignments supporting all phases of design including initial planning, feasibility, scope and concept development, detailed design, construction documentation, and construction administration Assist with 3D modeling and design, conductingfieldinvestigations, performing red-to-black markup/review tasks, and producing discipline deliverables Qualifications AdditionalQualifications Basicproficiencyin Revit and AutoCAD MEP is preferred Experience with implementing fundamental design aspects of HVAC, mechanical utility, and piping system design preferred Understanding ofthe applicablebuilding codes, technical and design aspects of CRB’s market areas, and will be expected to work closely with architectural, engineering, and constructionstaffmembers to ensure assignments are completed accurately andefficiently MinimumQualifications Applicable Associate degree or technical trade schoolcertification 3 to 7 years of experience required includingfieldexperience in either a design or construction capacity Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
