General Manager

Core Purpose : To create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners. EōS Fitness is seeking a highly motivated and sales-driven leader to serve as General Manager, reporting to the District Sales Manager. The role focuses on improving sales, enhancing processes, and building a team of leaders to achieve membership and revenue goals. Position Purpose : Develop a team that delivers an exceptional customer experience and hits business objectives. Responsibilities Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff members, including Assistant General Managers and Fitness Consultants. Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff, ensuring clarity of roles. Set and achieve membership and revenue goals, track KPIs, and devise strategies to increase membership retention and new sign‑ups. Provide constructive feedback to staff, highlighting strengths and improvement areas. Ensure high-quality customer service by addressing member concerns, managing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. Engage with members in a friendly manner, actively listening to their needs and offering clear responses. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, certifications, and safety protocols. Supervise maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas. Communicate calmly and clearly with staff and members during emergencies or unexpected disruptions, providing necessary instructions and updates. Qualifications 2 years of sales management experience. 3–4 years of customer service experience. Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees, management, and vendors. Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels. Strong detail orientation and systematic approach to problem solving, with good time management, organization, and record‑keeping. Alignment with EōS Fitness' Core Values. Requirements Must successfully pass a background check. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Ability to work in a gym setting, move around club floors and rooms, and communicate with employees, members, and the public. Ability to access and operate the company computer system, prepare documents, enter data, and read reports. Ability to bend routinely and lift more than 40 lbs.
