Systems Engineer

Hardware EngineerWe are seeking an entry-level energetic Hardware Engineer to support the development of a COTS-based test-system platform that emulates tactical equipment. In this role you will design, assemble, and validate hardware using commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) modules while interfacing with a variety of aerospace and defense communications standards such as ARINC 429/664, CAN, RS-232, and related signal families. You will generate and maintain accurate wiring diagrams, redline updates, and bill-of-materials revisions, collaborating closely with peer engineers. The position offers hands-on experience in rapid prototyping and verification testing within a fast-paced, high-visibility program, providing ample opportunity for professional growth and deeper expertise in hardware architecture and integration.Basic Qualifications:STEM degree or equivalent experience.Desired Skills:Experience designing and building hardware with commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) modules.Familiarity with aerospace/defense interface standards such as ARINC 429/664, CAN, RS-232, MIL-STD-1553, etc.Ability to create and maintain wiring diagrams, redline updates, and bill-of-materials revisions.Pay Information:Full-Time Salary Range: $58200.00 - $108200.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
