Mechanical Design Engineer IIIEngineering/DesignDulles, VA • Full-Time/RegularLead, evaluate, design, and engineer projects and systems to specification on projects ranging from new design/build to rehabilitation of existing facilities and systems. Provide ongoing technical guidance and engineering issue resolution as needed.Position DetailsPerforms complex calculations, drawings and specifications related to HVAC, plumbing, fire protection or other systemsPerforms complex calculations for a project, such as heating/cooling loads, equipment selection and sizing, friction loss calculations, hydraulic calculations, etc.Develops standards, methods, processes and procedures for reviewing, evaluating and inspecting designs.Determines methods and solutions for complex engineering problems and identify the most efficient and acceptable solution.Directs the workflow of less-experienced engineers on assigned projects. For Virginia this ranges from $118,119.00 - $144,368.00 plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.Contingent Employment: All employment offers are contingent upon successful drug tests, background checks, and professional reference checks.
