GL Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented professional to oversee inventory, coordinate ordering across multiple restaurant locations, and support food cost control. Prior inventory management experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Review store order requests and coordinate purchasing, replenishment, and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving, stock usage, and transfers.
- Conduct inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, excess inventory, and waste.
- Track purchasing costs, inventory usage, and food cost trends.
- Work with restaurant teams, warehouse staff, and suppliers to resolve ordering and delivery issues.
- Improve inventory procedures and ordering accuracy across locations.
Requirements
- Hands-on inventory management experience is required.
- Restaurant inventory and food cost control experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with purchasing, receiving, inventory reconciliation, and waste tracking.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or inventory management software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to support multiple locations and consistently work both scheduled shifts.
Work Schedule
Monday–Friday and Sunday; Saturdays off.
All hours are in Dallas local time (Central Time) :
- 2:00–6:00 PM: In-office
- 9:00 PM–1:00 AM the following day: Work from home
Compensation: Based on experience.
