Exciting opportunities await certified School Psychologists seeking a rewarding contract assignment supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth. Conveniently located near Hartford, these onsite positions will allow you to make a meaningful impact at both the high school and elementary levels.

Openings are available for two professionals, with one position serving students at the high school from late August through March, and the other at an elementary school from late October through mid-January. You'll collaborate alongside talented special education teams, applying your expertise to contribute positively to the school community.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut School Psychologist License (required)
• Experience with comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and report writing
• Demonstrated skill in consultation and collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
• Ability to provide direct counseling services to students
• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
• Strong commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret psychological evaluations for students as part of the special education process
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop educational plans addressing students’ diverse needs
• Support implementation of effective strategies for academic and behavioral interventions
• Provide counseling and mental health support to students individually and in groups
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote academic and social success for students
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to compliance with state and federal guidelines
