Make a difference supporting students’ academic and emotional growth as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational environment near West Hartford, CT. This contract-based opportunity offers ample room for professional impact at both a high school and an elementary setting, allowing you to showcase your skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families.

You’ll work onsite at either Bristol Central High School from late August 2026 to March 2027, or at West Bristol School from October 2026 to mid-January 2027. Each role is 35 hours per week, providing you with consistent, meaningful engagement within your assigned school community.

What You'll Bring:

• Active, valid Connecticut School Psychologist License (required)
• Previous experience in K-12 schools preferred
• Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, counselors, administration, and families
• Commitment to supporting diverse student needs in alignment with district goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess students’ learning and mental health needs
• Provide direct counseling services for students individually and in groups
• Consult with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement effective interventions
• Assist in the development of IEPs and 504 Plans, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Serve as a critical resource during multidisciplinary team meetings
• Participate in crisis intervention and provide ongoing support for students’ social-emotional development
