Job Description
Wound Care Nurse

Schedule:
Days M-F 8 am - 3 pm

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- 2 years of experience with acute wound care
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- COVID and FLU vaccination required (declinations will not be approved)
- Copy of agency's Illinois nursing license included in submission (must be active at time of submission)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients.
- Utilize the Nursing Process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with all disciplines on the assigned unit.
- Prioritize nursing actions and implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
