Job Title: Assembler II

Location: San Jose, CA (On-site)

Position Type: 4-Month Temporary Contract

Shift Schedule: Swing Shift (Mon–Thu: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM | Fri: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM)

Pay Rate: $27.00/hr + 10% Shift Differential ($29.70/hr total)

A fast-growing medical device company focused on advanced surgical technology is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler.

This role is a mix of assembly and documentation support, ideal for someone who is organized, computer-savvy, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. This is a short-term contract (approx. 4 months) with potential for extension based on business needs and performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Support production and assembly operations as needed
- Review and verify Device History Records (DHRs)
- Complete and maintain documentation and forms
- Perform accurate data entry
- Verify work order kits from the warehouse
- Assist with ordering parts and tracking materials
- Print and verify signage and labels
- Act as a floater supporting multiple areas
- Support assembly operations at critical bottleneck stations to maintain production flow
- Follow SOPs and ensure compliance

 

Work Environment:

- Regulated medical device manufacturing environment
- May involve low-power microscopes
- Mix of desk work and hands-on tasks
- Team-oriented with training provided
