Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.38 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and/or delivery procedures in accordance with location protocols common to an aerospace and defense environment. Support assigned post duties in varying indoor and outdoor conditions, remaining prepared to follow post orders and report security‑related concerns promptly. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required. An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. Applicants must be 21 or more years of age. Alarm panel experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
