Nuclear Medicine/PETCT Technologist Full time with call

Education and Qualifications Graduate of an approved two‑year Nuclear Medicine Certification Program Florida state licensure Certified Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine – ARRT (N) American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers Proficient computer skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Position Summary The Nuclear Medicine Technologist manages all technical and clinical aspects of nuclear testing. The technologist is responsible for the safe acquisition, distribution, and disposal of radioactive material to perform testing and treatment of patients. The technologist consults with radiologists when quality issues arise, maintains accurate department records to ensure compliance with licensing requirements, establishes and maintains quality control standards, and complies with all requirements of the Radiation Safety Program. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
