Associate Attorney

Busy Plaintiff Personal Injury Practice seeks an Associate Attorney to join our team.
Our Tampa office is seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney with a Minimum of FIVE (5) years Personal Injury litigation experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to Manage a high volume of Litigation cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Superior writing and advocacy skills
- Five years experience litigating personal injury cases
- Jury Trial experience
- Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar Association
DUTIES:
- Handle heavy and complex caseload of cases in litigation, including, but not limited to trial preparation and trial.
- Represent clients in legal proceedings such as court appearances and depositions
- Draft legal documents: complaints, discovery, and motions.
- Evaluate and determine case value
- Determine whether a case settlement is appropriate
- Prepare mediation summaries and mediate cases
- Manage a Paralegal
- Regular and reliable attendance is essential for the function of this job
