You'll help us understand what happened, why it happened, what may happen next, and what we can do about it.Working across revenue, costs, capital expenditures, and key business metrics, you'll develop analyses and financial models that give our leadership team the insight they need to move the business forward.If you enjoy asking "Why?", digging into the data, building the story behind the numbers, and translating complex information into clear business recommendations, we want to hear from you.What You'll DoBudgeting & ForecastingSupport the development of annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts.Partner with leaders across the organization to understand business drivers and financial assumptions.Help identify emerging trends and opportunities that could impact future performance.Performance & Business AnalysisAnalyze current and historical trends across key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.Investigate variances and identify the "why" behind the numbers.Translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations for management.Financial Modeling & Scenario PlanningBuild, maintain, and enhance sophisticated financial models to support strategic business initiatives.Develop "what-if" scenarios to help leadership evaluate opportunities, risks, and potential outcomes.Turn complex data into clear, decision-ready information.Reporting & Executive InsightsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for management.Highlight significant variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts.Develop presentations and analysis that clearly communicate financial performance and business trends to leadership.Market & Industry IntelligenceMonitor industry trends, market conditions, and relevant competitor performance.Provide external context that helps Sterling Foods better understand its financial performance and competitive position.Identify trends and opportunities that may influence future business results.Process Improvement & AutomationIdentify opportunities to make financial reporting and analysis more efficient, accurate, and scalable.Help automate recurring reporting and analytical processes.Champion improvements that reduce manual effort and allow the finance team to spend more time on insight and strategy-not spreadsheets.Why This Role MattersAt Sterling Foods, Finance isn't simply about reporting the numbers.
