Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse – NeurosurgeryRotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. Occasional on-call and callback responsibilities based on unit needs. Available positions may offer 36 or 48 hours per week.Details regarding the contract length and guaranteed hours per week will be provided during the interview process.Must have experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit.BLS certification required.High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience required.Telemetry experience required.Active RN license in the state.Minimum of two years of nursing experience.ACLS certification preferred.NIHSS certification required.Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing neurosurgery.Conduct thorough assessments and perform neuro checks as required.Manage medications and IV drips, including Cardene and 3% NS.Monitor patients with arterial lines and provide care for EVDs, lumbar drains, and other neurological devices.Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.Additional compliance details, including orientation rules and background checks, will be provided during the hiring process.State NY Job Board Disclaimer TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer and fully complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
