Our client, a growing and well-established general contracting organization, is seeking a Staff Accountant II to join its accounting team. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with at least two years of experience who is pursuing a CPA and looking to grow toward a Senior Accountant role.
Location: West Chester, OH
** Job Type: ** Direct Hire
** Salary: ** $65,000 - $75,000
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post recurring and standard journal entries
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations in BlackLine
- Support intercompany transactions and multi-entity accounting activities
- Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis and research account fluctuations
- Assist with month-end close, audit preparation, and external auditor requests
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of assigned accounting processes
** Qualifications: **
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience; public accounting busy season experience will be considered
- CPA candidate or actively pursuing CPA certification
- Solid analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with BlackLine and ERP systems is a plus
