Apply today!PAYWe offer our Skills Coach - Direct Support Professional a competitive wage of $18.00-$20.50 per hour.BENEFITS• Bonus structure• Health insurance• Dental• PTO• Flexible schedule• Growth opportunities• Employee assistance program• Life insurance• Mentor/apprentice program• 401(k) with company match• Mileage reimbursement• Company partiesIf this sounds like the right full-time or part-time opportunity, keep reading!SCHEDULE FOR OUR SKILLS COACH - DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALThis position offers full-time hours typically Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, or part-time schedules of 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, or 2-3 full days per week.YOUR ROLE AS A SKILLS COACH - DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALIn this full-time or part-time position, you'll spend your day supporting adults with disabilities as they build confidence, independence, community connections, employment skills, and essential life skills.Your responsibilities will include assisting participants with daily routines, supporting job skill development, helping them work toward personal goals, participating in meaningful community activities, and encouraging greater self-sufficiency. Throughout the day, you'll model positive behaviors, implement behavior support strategies, celebrate achievements, and collaborate with team members to overcome challenges and create opportunities for growth.IN ORDER TO DO THIS, YOU'LL NEED THE FOLLOWING• High school diploma or equivalent• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation• Willingness to transport participants using your personal vehiclePersonal or professional experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.OUR COMPANYAchieveAbilities empowers disabled adults to build meaningful, confident lives, at work and in the community.
