Preconstruction Manager

Client Established General Contractor with a strong Atlanta presence, focusing on commercial, aviation, mixed‑use, and education On Offer Ownership of complex preconstruction and estimating assignments Opportunity to lead estimate reviews with project teams, design teams, and owners Strong platform for leadership, mentoring, and long‑term progression Responsibilities Develop conceptual through final design estimates Lead preconstruction assignments Manage pricing across hard bid, GMP, Design Build, and IPD delivery methods Coordinate with operations, scheduling, field, VDC, and marketing teams Lead estimate reviews with owners, design teams, and internal leadership Build subcontractor, supplier, client, and design partner relationships Mentor junior estimators and maintain historical cost data Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent construction experience 5+ years of estimating, preconstruction, or project management experience Experience developing estimates from conceptual through final design Strong understanding of multiple delivery methods Ability to read drawings, define scopes, and manage subcontractor pricing Experience with estimating and construction software Strong communication, technical writing, and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines Strong organization, problem‑solving, and conflict resolution skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Niche SSP - No.1 for Estimating Talent
