Mammography Technologist- Per DiemHourly Pay Range: $35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Sign on Bonus: $1,000Position: Mammography TechnologistLocation: Evanston, ILFull Time/Part Time: Per Diem/RegistryHours: Days, 8-4:30Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3: 111-144 hrs./ per 6-week scheduleRequired Travel: Yes-localWhat You Will Do:Under the direction of a Staff Radiologist, performs Mammography examinations at a level of optimum technical quality for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and procedures.Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties that will require independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Mammography procedures.Maintains a high standard of quality care and adheres to the ACR guidelines while obtaining imaging.Ensures patient safety during examination.Explains procedures with tactful manners when there is a need for additional imaging.Perform specialized exams under the direction of the staff radiologistWhat You Will Need:Education: High School degree or equivalentCertification: CPR certification required.
