CDL A Local Delivery Driver - $26.27 Per Hour - Home Daily

We are currently seeking an experienced CDL A Driver for our client in Ashland, Virginia. This position offers a pay rate of $26.27 per hour and provides a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with home daily routes. Drivers will deliver palletized medical supplies to hospitals throughout the region.

About the Position

The CDL A Driver will operate an automatic tractor-trailer to deliver medical supplies to hospitals in locations including Charlotte, Roanoke, Harrison, and surrounding areas . This is a touch-freight position requiring drivers to safely unload palletized medical supplies at delivery locations.

Drivers will start at approximately 5:30 PM and return home daily.

Schedule: Monday-Friday
Start Time: 5:30 PM
Home Time: Home daily

Equipment: Automatic tractor with 48-foot trailer

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate an automatic tractor-trailer
Deliver medical supplies to hospitals
Safely unload palletized freight at delivery locations
Handle touch freight as required
Maintain accurate delivery documentation
Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and customer safety requirements
Complete routes while maintaining a high level of customer service

Minimum Requirements

Valid CDL A
Recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL A driving experience
Experience with touch freight preferred
Valid DOT Medical Card
Clean Motor Vehicle Record
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Must be able to safely handle palletized medical supplies
