Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker) Location: 5916 N. May Ave, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73112 Pay Range: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour, based on experience. Job Overview: This role provides daily interaction with customers, helping with sales and pawn agreements for items such as jewelry, electronics, and musical instruments. Provide a friendly, courteous environment that sets us apart. Key Responsibilities: Greet and interact with customers in person and by phone. Process sales, loans, and extensions. Perform opening and closing store duties. Maintain accurate cash and transaction records. Assist with pawn item appraisal and knowledge of common pawn items. Development Opportunity: Start as a Trainee in a 5‑week paid training program. Earn a $0.50 raise and promotion to Pawnbroker upon completion. Advance to Pawnbroker Certification, earning an additional $1/hour. Potential promotion to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Leader) and Assistant Manager. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Customer service, cashier, or retail experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self‑motivated with a positive, outgoing personality. Strong work ethic; ability to multitask and work well independently and in a team. Pass a criminal background check and drug test (conditional offer). Knowledge of commonly pawned items (tools, jewelry, firearms, electronics) – plus. Sales experience – plus. Bilingual – plus.
