As a Security Officer Patrol Detail in SACRAMENTO, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with a people-first approach, working as part of an agile, reliable team that values innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel while following site access protocols and reporting issues to the appropriate contacts.
• Support daily operations by communicating clearly with site contacts, following post orders, and completing routine reports related to security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
