Job Title Social Media Student Coordinator (Boys & Girls Clubs) - Federal Work Study Location UNG - Gainesville Duration Temporary, Part-Time (10 hours per week preferred) Job Summary The University of North Georgia is seeking a federal work study student to serve as the Social Media Student Coordinator for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lanier. The coordinator will capture and share the club’s daily activities through photography, video, and written content to build community awareness, support fundraising, and engage local families. Responsibilities Capture daily club activities through onsite photography and video production to highlight youth impact. Manage weekly content calendars across multiple platforms, draft tailored captions, and directly engage with the community by answering parent questions and moderating comments. Build digital campaigns to support local fundraising events, track monthly performance analytics, and enforce youth safety and photo privacy guidelines. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Preferably pursuing a major in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications. Strong communication and organizational skills. Experience with social media platforms and basic content creation tools. Required Qualifications Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia with a minimum of six credit hours to qualify as a student worker. Federal Work Study Award eligibility.
