Ready to inherit a well-established portfolio, maximize your earnings, About the Role My client is a major plastics injection molding business, recognized for their flexibility, technical breadth (thermoplastic, thermoset, two-shot, overmolding, and secondary operations), and direct connections to senior leadership. With a motivated and supportive team, my client offers both the agility of a smaller organization and the impact of a market leader. What You’ll Do Take ownership of and grow an existing customer portfolio, primarily located in Detroit and Chicago Drive new business, focusing on key sectors: automotive (70%), lawn/garden, industrial, medical, renewable energy, data centers, and drone manufacturing Build relationships with Tier 1 customers and engage directly with engineers on technical requirements and value solutions Enjoy a strong support system Work independently and remotely, with periodic, fully expensed travel to clients and manufacturing facilities Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $120,000–$125,000 (DOE), plus realistic $30,000–$40,000 annual commission (total earnings: $150,000–$160,000+) Commission structure: 25% Full employee benefits package (401K, health, annual bonus eligibility tied to company performance) Collaborative team of approx. 10–11 professionals What You’ll Bring Minimum 5 years' experience in plastics/injection molding sales or account management (automotive, lawn/garden, industrial, renewable, or medical markets strongly preferred) Proven ability to manage and grow major accounts while driving substantial new business Technical proficiency to converse with engineers, review cost breakdowns, and oversee the sales process independently Highly self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a remote set-up Step into an established role where your impact will be visible, your earnings significant, and your career on a growth trajectory.
