To learn more about Team OC please visit are currently searching for a Part Time Patient Services Specialist to work with our OrthoCarolina team.** *The schedule for this position is Saturday and Sunday 10am-2pm.*The **Patient Services Specialist** greets patients, prepares forms, collects, verifies and enters patient information into EPIC necessary for the timely and accurate processing of patient claims.**Essential Functions:*** Prepares paperwork necessary for the patient visit.* Makes appointments, performs Cashier duties as directed including posting of charges,* Collection of co-payments/co-insurance and balances due.* Follows the process for release of medical information and FMLA/disability forms completion as requested.**Skills and Abilities:*** Excellent customer service skills* Working knowledge of insurance* Epic/EMR background a plus* Medical terminology**Qualifications:*** High school graduate and/or associate or bachelor's degree* Prefer minimum of one year experience in medical clinic setting.### ### **Employee Type**Part Time - Benefits Ineligible## **Qualifications**### **Skills**Health Care, Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA), Medical Records Management, Medical Terminology, Patient Care, Patient Charting, Patient Education, Patient Information### **Education**### **Certifications**### **Language**### **Work Experience**
