In this role, you will support the design and development of industrial electrical systems, assist with engineering analyses and design calculations, and collaborate with experienced engineers on a variety of technically challenging projects while building a strong foundation in electrical engineering consulting.Responsibilities:Preparing electrical engineering documentsAssisting with the analysis, preparation or modification of reports, plans, schedules, studies, and designs for projectsPerforming electrical design calculationsAssisting with the preparation of design and construction budgetsDesigning industrial electrical systems such as low- and medium-voltage power distribution and raceways, motor control centers, and lighting (indoor and outdoor)Designing industrial control systems such as industrial control panels, motor and control circuit schematics, and networking systemsAdditional duties may include attending client meetings and/or serving as an on-site project representativeSome travel will be requiredOther duties as assignedThe successful candidate must have a minimum of:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or universityThe preferred candidate will have:Knowledge or experience related to responsibilitiesCAD/BIM software (AutoCAD/Revit preferred)Lighting design software, power distribution design software (EasyPower preferred), and Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of applicable regulatory codesPrevious internship experienceThis role offers structured mentorship, exposure to a variety of project types, and a clear path for professional development.
