BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking DSP / Direct Support Professional to join the team in Sharon, PA. BAYADA’s DSP / Direct Support Professionals work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. We provide flexibility with scheduling, and we have paid training and only a 1-day paid orientation.

Urgently hiring a DSP in Sharon, PA to support a female client Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours/week.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Competitive pay rates with a weekly pay schedule ($19.50 / hour +)
• Paid trainings and only a 1-day paid orientation!
• Flexible scheduling (daytime hours)
• Short commute times (we match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)
  • Mileage reimbursement weekly

How You’ll Make an Impact as a DSP / Direct Support Professional:

• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities
• Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization

Qualifications for Our DSP / Direct Support Professionals:

• One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to transport clients to community activities
