Pharmacist (Shift Differential) (Onsite | Milwaukee, WI)

Pay rate: $64.27 an hr

Location: Milwaukee, WI (onsite)
Schedule: Evening shift 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM , Monday–Friday , with potential for Saturday
Type: Contract to hire

Position Summary

Seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support an onsite pharmacy operation. You’ll dispense medications, counsel patients, ensure regulatory compliance, and supervise pharmacy support staff.

Key Responsibilities

Accept and dispense prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
Monitor medication compliance and identify potential over-usage patterns
Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy files
Provide patient consultation on prescription and OTC medications (dosage, storage, side effects, interactions)
Educate patients on proper use of medical devices (e.g., BP monitors, glucose meters)
Compound medications (including sterile solutions) following proper procedures
Supervise pharmacy staff (pharmacy technicians/clerks) and support workflow operations
Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
Identify drug-related problems and communicate effectively with prescribers and healthcare team members

Requirements

Active Wisconsin Pharmacist (RPh) license (required)
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) (required)
Ability to work onsite and meet schedule/coverage needs, including potential Saturdays
