Job Description

This individual contributor role oversees the organization’s payroll operations, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This position leads the management of payroll processes and controls, partners closely with HR peers and cross-functional partners, and identifies opportunities to improve payroll systems, processes, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization's payroll operations to ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Lead the management of payroll processes and controls.

• Collaborate with HR peers and cross-functional partners to enhance payroll systems.

• Identify and implement opportunities for improving payroll processes and scalability.

Essential Skills

• Experience working with payroll and HRIS systems.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to analyze payroll data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.

• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll requirements.

• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.

• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check prior to employment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with multi-state payroll.

• Familiarity with Paycom software.

Work Environment

This position is based on-site in North Hills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
