Commercial Service Electrician – Hospitals & Healthcare

Location: Tampa, FL
Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity

We’re hiring an experienced Commercial Service Electrician for work throughout the Tampa area, primarily in hospitals, healthcare facilities, medical offices, and other occupied commercial environments .

This is not just an installation position . We need an electrician who is strong in service work, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs and can confidently work around customers and facility personnel.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial electrical systems
• Diagnose electrical problems and determine the proper repair
• Install and service panels, transformers, disconnects, lighting, conduit, and wiring
• Troubleshoot branch circuits, feeders, motor controls, and distribution systems
• Work with emergency power, generators, ATS, and lighting controls
• Read blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams
• Perform service work in active/occupied healthcare facilities
• Complete work safely with minimal disruption to facility operations

What We’re Looking For

• 4-5 years experience. 4th year apprentice electricians should apply!
• Strong service and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working independently on service calls
• Knowledge of the NEC
• Strong conduit bending and electrical installation skills
• Experience with commercial panels, transformers, switchgear, and controls
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• OSHA 10 required
• Ability to pass background and drug screening

Healthcare Experience Is a Plus

Experience working in hospitals, medical facilities, government buildings, or other occupied/mission-critical environments is highly desirable.

Experience with fire alarm, access control, nurse call, data, BAS, generators, ATS, UPS, VFDs, or other low- and high-voltage systems is also a plus.
